Default About lowering my car,

I have a stock suspension, the lowest I want to go is a sport suspension. SO, if I simply buy sport springs and replace the ones on my car already [or have the dealer do it], will it be OK? This is covered by Audi warranty, accordidng to the Audi collection... I was just wondering if my shocks would be OK.

Ok, so, if I went through Audi, a complete sport suspension would cost $1000?

Default I was thinking of doing the same thing...(m)

I know a lot of people on this forum will tell you to just swap shocks as well, but since I do not want stiffer, just a tad lower, just the springs would be fine for me. Plus, I think eventually you could pick up someones used sport springs for cheap.

A lot of discussion occurs on whether this would shorten the life of your shocks. I think while it could shorten them to some degree, you are only lowering them .75" so it's not that extreme IMO. I'd take the chance it would hurt the longevity of the shocks too much.

Default but a used sport suspension. it won't be covered by audi warranty

but whatever breaks u can buy again for the cost of the dealership installing a new suspension for you.

Default my dealer put in OEM sport springs and cover them...

however after extended use i have found the car to be rather bumpy and am now looking into oem sport shocks as well to correct that !
