You could repair by filling in the crack. New (forming) plastic will not only stick to old (already formed) plastic, but it will chemically become part of the old plastic. Then you can sand/buff out any imperfections.

Default Most plastic body parts can be 'plastic welded' to repair cracks.
Any decent body shop will know what to do.
