Default GUESS: the flaps that control the warm/cold air mixture for climate control has a motor that isn't

working. Have you noticed that the right hand side climate control isn't working properly? If it's intermittent it may not be noticeable.

Default Yes...

Your a/c system/ducting up behind your dash board has internal flaps, for directing air, in and around the cabin. These flaps are controlled by small electric motors or servo's.

Your V159 motor maybe be bad, disconnected or stuck.

If you have the Bentley manual, it has pictures of the V159, and its location.

Thanks for the info. I will reset the codes and see if they come back.

I'm looking for the 01810 - Actuating Motor for Temperature Flap: Right (V159) I have my glove box off but i'm not sure which one it is. Pictures would be most helpful.

Thanks,

Thanks a lot.
I had a similar fault code (can't remember the exact fault code I had) quite a while ago. I removed the motor assembly, sprayed some electronic contact cleaner into the potentiometer connected to the motor & rotated the potentiometer back & forth several times. Cleared the code & it hasn't reappeared. YMMV.

Had same issue and was able to clear it by using Ross Tech to go to AC module - basic settings and having module perform a recalibration. took 2 minutes to move all flaps to min and max and find new zeros and then the noise and codes have been gone for 2 days now!

How do you get basic settings to do a recalibration of the flaps??
