Default Advice on '05 1.8 Avant USP

Hey guys--
Looking to pick up above wagon, with 20,500 miles on the ticker. He's the first owner, with the following mods:
19" Oettinger RZ's
Stasis Motorsport suspension
GIAC'ed
Forge BPV's
Neuspeed SS & exhaust
Evo MS intake

His dealer is completely tolerant with his mods as far as the warranty goes--however, I am pretty keen on a CPO. My dealer in Cleveland (Fred Baker) is also very mod-tolerant, and we own two cars from them already. If I swapped the Oettingers for stock snows, and/or swapped GIAC flash for stock flash, do you think they'd certify it?
Also, are most of the aftermarket warranties applicable/availble for slightly modded B6's? Are they any good?
Thanks for any and all input.

Default Well, sounds like the prev. owner has some money into it. *more*

So, putting that into consideration. I think he would have taken very good care of the car. So just keep on top of the maintance etc, and you should hopefully be ok.

If you don't plan to mod, just go buy a already CPO'd vehicle. If you do mod, that is a hell of a start.

Thing is, my folks are fronting half the money, and of course there are worries about non-CPO'd cars--this avant, though, is probably the cleanest one I've seen. It's tempting...and getting inspected tomorrow morning at the seller's dealer.

How much does your A4 run you as far as maintenance costs/out of pocket costs per year?

I'll take the wheels. I'll give you tree fiddy plus shipping to Canada.

Haha...fo fitty plus shipping at your cost. Just kidding.
What's a reasonable offer to make on this--KBB is ~25ish. He's asking 33.5, which is entirely overpriced.
