Default Advice on fixing / replacing my plastic belly pan

Ok I'm a dumbass. Forgot to put the car in gear when I parked in front of the office to see an emergency patient. Came out to find it rolled down a little hill and hit the (high) parking lot curb head on and jumped up onto the grass.

As I cursed myself and backed off the curb, my belly pan ripped off completely. No obvious damage otherwise. The pan itself is fairly intact except for some of the holes where it was attached.

I just searched the forums and it seems this piece is probably necessary for protection, heat shielding/venting, and aerodynamics.

Will it be okay to leave it off a couple weeks? When I get around to it I'm planning to put the front up on jackstands and try to reinstall the plastic belly pan, possibly with some zipties? If I have to replace it, I'd prefer to stay away from the stealership, maybe call some junkyards?

I'd love some feedback on this. Thanks guys.

"Sudden acceleration" Leave it off too long and belts get crusty. Try IMPEX vwparts.com
