Default An alternative to a tripod would be to sit the camera on boxes, a table, a ledge, etc...

... that's what I do for all my long exposure shots - seems to work!

Default Tripods are good

I just got one and the pictures came out sooooo much better! Mine was just a $50 thing but hey it does what I wanted it to do.

Default O my hands shake like no other

It's quite sad actually. I used to just always use the flash so that the pictures came out clear but I hated how the pictures looked sometimes. The tripod def. worked. All those sunset pictures I took and posted were with the use of a tripod and no flash.

Default I had the trunk open and set the tripod right there over the opened up trunk...

...tilt the mounting point facing the trunk and "click"
