Default aftermarket headunit

is an aftermarket headunit compatible with the stock bose system? i want to leave the speakers and bose amp, but just add an aftermarket deck so i can watch dvd's and play mp3 files...i know BMW peeps use aftermarket with their stock Harmon Kardons...

Default its not going to work because BOSE speakers runs screwy impedances.

you would have to replace speakers too.

Default Yes you can.

There are several diff manufacturers of bose adapters to accomplish this task. I just use a headunit that has front and rear outputs. Buy one set of rca's and cut them splice them and connect them to the factory amp input wires. If you need further help you can email me.
