Default Aftermarket Speakers
Gang,
a friend of mine wants to buy an '05 2.0T that has everything she wants on it except for Premium Sound. Are there any options for using the stock headunit and adding aftermarket speakers and amp?

Default Usually having the normal stereo system is a blessing b/c you can use aftermarket speakers.
The Bose stuff is pretty much crap b/c it's hard to replace stuff. You shouldn't have a problem doing any kind of swap.

Default you can buy a plug that gives you RCA outs for <$20
then install new amp/speakers as desired. shouldn't be hard at all.

Default Give it a try before you rip it out...
Most (non bassheads) find it adequate, if not enjoyable.
