air filter - 04 - 3.0

how do I take out the old filter so I can replace with a K&N?

Waste of money. You get free filters under warranty and the k&n wont improve performance...

Several people have taken measurements on the airbox itself and proven this fact.

K&N has some benefits.Good filtration, good flow, reusable.Just got one for my 2.8, it's louder.

Insulation on the airbox and intake runner will help a lot esp in summer.
