Default don't try to be lazy and squeeze it in - just open up the entire assembly

it's only like 4 extra screws or something. Not hard at all if you do that.

only if you oil it too much. pain in the *** for 2 hp, if you ask me. but you didnt. so there.

Default Not a waste for me. Been running one since 10000 miles.Now at 70K on same MAF. Saves tons of fuel..

I originally was stock when I put it in...gained about 50-60 miles more per tank of fuel.

Default in my b5 passat..it did to a slight degree..i don't have any proof other than me driving the car...

with and without the filter. There is a change and you can tell. Some how a regular air filter forms some kind of restriction i guess for epa ratings.

Default Really? Wow! However, I don't think that it was the K&N that made that difference.

More likely your old filter was really dirty.
