for the soft coding and adaptation channel values. The parking light flash and or alarm beep is a coding selectable feature, if the module is coded right, then the alarm horn is likely toast. Does the alarm horn work if you intentionally activate the alarm system when the car is locked and the alarm is armed?

with the windows down.
i usually remote roll-down, then it re-locks after 10-20 seconds then wife reaches in or unlocks setting the alarm off.
no noise
Alarm arm/de-arm no noise.

Same issue here....been told that its the alarm speaker. $500 by the stealership. The speaker itself costs $350. I believe its located behind the driver's side tail light. No luck finding it so far..my mechanic spent 2 hours on it...and I am not fixing it right now!
