Alas, after 6 years, I am no longer part of the Audi family...

Didn't try every function, but it did work on the ipod and the phone still worked. Can't remember if the phone projected through the speakers though.

I have heard nothing but good things about Sewell from family, friends, and even strangers. Some of my co-workers even did business cases on Mr. Sewell in college.
They've been great to me so far, although I've been sorta carried by my salesman so far. He found a couple small knicks in the chrome trunk spoiler that I couldn't even see, and ordered the part on the spot. It got here in two days, and he said he'd detail and fill up the car again for me while I wait. Come to think of it, I haven't bought gas in it yet because it was full when I bought it, and they filled it again three days later when I went back for the detail (yes, gas is dirt cheap now, but it's the principle).
I'll be anxious to see how it holds up reliability-wise compared to my B6. I don't think it could be any worse, as my B6 had its fair share of annoyances:
Coilpacks
Coolant flange
2 oil leaks
catalytic converter
window regulators
sunroof switch
peeling switches
broken lumbar and seat clips
frozen brake caliper pins
Faulty cruise control stalk
nasty taillight bulb appetite
Random dipped headlight and other bulb warning gremlins
broken dash cupholder
among others
The longer warranty and cost of repair alone should help out. Hell, even my insurance only went up $100/yr for a brand new car with all that extra power. Depreciation is said to be one of the tops in the industry too. I have heard about the tire issue with the Infinitis/Nissan Z's. I only got 18K out of my factory Contis on the A4. The G's are staggered, so I'm debating on whether to unload the set now with brand new tires and go to non-staggered 19's, or run through the first set of rubber and decide then.
I will miss the fact that you don't see as many Audis around here as g35's though. The Ibis Avant would have definitely taken the exclusivity quotient up a notch.
I agree that the service advisor is key. I used to take my Audi to DFW when it was still Baillargeon, but after my guy Steve Fordham left and ultimately ended up at Porsche, I wouldn't go back. I rather UP Audi or even Boardwalk. Sorry again for your issues, I hope your situation improves.
