Default Basic explanation
The term BI-Xenons is a little bit misleading. The housing itself has a xenon projector and a halogen bulb. Turning on the low beams ignites the xenon bulb that has a flap keeping it from projecting high. When you hit the high beam switch, a flap, door, ramp whatever you want to call it opens up on the xenons projector allowing it to project much higher (picture holding your eye lids halfway shut and then opening them all the way)... at the same time the halogen high beam bulb also turns on so now you have your xenon projector unristricted AND your halogen high beams on also!

Default I bet the black housing IS cheaper. They probably went with that to cut costs.
But this is just a guess. I could be totally wrong.

Default they actually aren't bixenon then, they are xenon plus.
bi xenon would be a seprate low xenon bulb, and a seprate high xenon bulb.,

Default saw my car today @ the dealer and it does indeed have bi-xenons. The car loooooks soooo goooood...I
wanted to take it home so bad...but Monday night it is!
