but... if Boston gets a lot of snow, it can make a huge difference to have dedicated snows. I had Pirelli snows for all 6 years I lived in Boston. Now that I'm mainly in NJ, I'm running all seasons year round.
tires make a huge difference, and your relative amount of confidence in winter conditions is another huge factor...

Living in Ottawa it is a big help to have winters on (going on this weekend). Not sure how much snow you would typically get but good condition all seasons would get you buy just be careful
