With all the snub mount talk...what happened to talk of using a stock A6 mount?

if you search it's been talked about for a while around here...I'm not sure exactly..

On the A4 there are two main motor mounts ( left and right) and one snub mount. The snub mount is the one in front of the motor it keeps the motor from rocking up and down under acceleration and deceleration. The snub mount can be replaced by a poly made mount which is stiffer. Now the main motor mounts can also be replaced by the older B5 platform or A6 V6 motor mounts which are also stiffer because the motor is heavier then the 1.8t motor. You can get the V6 motor mount part number from any Audi dealer. One way of making sure you have the V6 mounts is the top screw of the mount is painted BLUE that is the color code for the stiffer mount. Hope that answers your questions!
