Default What is the specific problem?

Are they rough riding, rubbing, causing vibration... ??

A buddy of mine had some IF wheels a few years back, and had problems balancing them. Turned out the centers were out of round.

Keep them! My ride quality is still very good. If you get 18s then you'll wish you got 19s.

Default Get a grip... I've been running 19 for almost 3 years...

without a problem.

BUT... you have to realize what you are driving on... 19's require triple extra attention while driving. It only takes one lapse to f them up.

The only wheel I ever bent was an 18. That wheel had a big lip on it. I purposely choose 19" wheels that have the spokes all the outboard (BBS CH, RS4 Reps). For strength and of course big brake clearance.

Default Bad idea... they will rub and be useless... especially if you lower the car.

and believe me, if you hit something that will bend a wheel, it will bend it regardless of a 235 or 245.

Get the proper fitment 235/35/19. I suggest getting an extra-load rated tire. Pirelli Pzero Neros and Conti sport Contact 2's come in extra load versions in that fitment.

I'm running 245/35/19 and I'm lowered and I hardly rub, although I'm going to switch to 235/35/19

Default Honest answer.....

The ride on 18 inch wheels vs. 19 inch wheels is very similar. Going from 15's or 16's to 18's is a big difference. However, going from 18's to 19's, the change in ride is negligble. Plus 19's look MUCH better.
