I can confirm that it is possible to make the incessant seat belt ding stop.

Not sure what my tech did but he did me a favor and got rid of it. He mentioned he found a code that stopped it

I'm very happy.

So for all of you who wondered and some said it couldn't be done it can.

Finally peace and quiet in my car.

My advice is to ask your dealer. That's what I did.

I'm all growns up now and don't need a beeper to tell me to put my seatbelt on.

I have no problem with it beeping when the car is in motion or when first started up but when I want to sit in my car while its parked I should be able to take off my belt and relax and not be yelled at.

Sometimes when I take calls on my phone I pull over just to be safe and the damn things wouldn't shutup. But its gone now!

That makes sense...i've never noticed it in the 03 model. I guess it was added?

Actually they added several things for some 2004.5
They include

1. The silly seatbelt warning

2. Pressing the turn siginal down half way gives you 3 flashes (I love this one)

3. The very stupid one that if you turn your car off and the turn indicator is on (left or right)the car will beep at you but it will leave the parking lights on till you put the indicator back into the middle position. Its a European thing I hear

4.Others that I may have left out.
