Default Alternative to K04-15----->VNT-15 turbo ?????

I rarely post but when I post, I can be very helpful. Since I have all the turbo in this earth (no exaggeration), I have an ability to see, hold first hand all types of turbos. Previously, I was able to tell you guys the difference bet. K04-03 vs K04-23 & K04-15 vs K04-23. As a matter of fact I sold lots of K04-23 and more and more are demanding for this type of turbo. No one came with ECU upgrade...so far.
Anyway, while I am studying different turbos in my basement, I happened to stumbled with a very interesting turbo. This is a VNT-15 (Variable Nozzle turbo) very rare and very expensive.I called this turbo "no lag turbo". I compared this turbo with K04-15. It has a/r of .46 and compressor of .56. The size of this VNT-15 is amazingly close to K04-15. It has 3 bolt patterns but unfortunately does not match the pattern.
So, there are things to be modified and altered.
This turbo is used by Ford Cosworth Escort RS
in Europe and made by Garrett. The reason, I am telling you this, the bulk of this turbo is similar to K04-15. As you know your car engine bay has a very limited space for big turbo.
Take a look, and please I am not asking you to
buy this from me. I would like to pass this information and I know its againts to sell here.
Since I don't have any other picture, please disregard the word "email for pricing"...I am not
promoting this turbo...just for future discussions. For those doesn't know what a VNT
turbo, well there is an explanation on how it works.
I measured this turbo and its about the same size as the K04-15.
This turbo is more powerful than the conventional type K04-15.
Although this is small, the geometry design is very high tech.
Anyway, take a look at it and discuss it to your fellow members....just trying to help, pls no
BS reply.

Default Didn't Chrysler use the VNT as well ? I remember reading press releases to that effect.

Back in the late '80s and early '90s.

Default I believe VNT is unsed on the TDI engines

sounds like a good tuner possiblity. Most however would be best off with a kit since tuning a turbo engine can have drastic side effects if they don't have some experience

the Idea of using this VNT turbo sounds like a mixed bag, the K04-23 while it might be a bit more laggy, should have a bit more flow poential

since it isn't a "bolt-on" upgrade they both remain candidates, I suppose catering to different markets though. The VNT would be for those looking to keep torque lower and the K04-23 would be better for those looking for a few more ponies in the top end

Am I correct in assuming this?
