Am I low on brake fluid?

I just replaced my rear brake pads. Stopping power is fine, but when I press the brake pedal I get the sounds of air. Sounds like blowing through a straw. Any ideas?

If not, then there would be no way to introduce air into it. Usually you have to siphon off some brake fluid when changing pads since it was probably topped off as the pads wore down. Make sure the reservoir is full. Did you re-adjust the piston and the e-brake when you did the pad change? If you didn't bleed the brakes to flush out the old fluid, now would be a good time to do it.

I did siphon some fluid out thought. Then I pumped the brakes and took for a test run. I have no idea what re-adjusting the e-brake means :=?
