Default Amazing how our cars devalue...
Today I was offered $10k for our 03 Avant, 1.8T Quattro Tip, with 65k miles...Car is in great shape...

I was not going to seriously accept a trade in anyway, but out of interest I let the salesman "value" the car...
This was not the usual slimy salesperson, but a pretty straight up guy, just what the dealership goes by on wholesale price...

Default yup...just last week i did a KBB
and my 1.8t quattro 5spd with 63k was like 13k on KBB, so 10k sounds about right for a dealer. Sucks huh. I dont think about it cause i love my car.

Private sale is the only way: 7 months ago got $15K for '02 Avant 1.8T w/ 72K in very good condition
