Out of sheer curiosity, what's the "normal" price?

Is a brake upgrade hard to do by yourself, or should you go to a shop?

Default If you have any wrenching experience it's not too hard.

the hardest part would be bleeding the brakes correctly. As far as the hardware, once you take the caliper off by the obvious bolts, the rotor falls right off. that covers the front, I haven't done the rears yet, but i don't expect them to much more difficult. I will be doing them in the next few weeks though. just make sure you hook up the e-brake cable ;o)

Default maybe go the the gym a little more often?

heh heh, kidding. I know what you mean, felt like the damn things were torqued to 100 lbs. and in that small of an area you can only fit a certain size wrench which makes it 5 times harder. Possibly put the closed end of a wrench on it and tap with a rubber mallot (sp?). I don't even think i could have fit an air gun in there. Just gotta use some body weight on it.
