Default Still have the LWFW installed, huh? Do you still like it or would you rather have an OEM FW?

I'm pretty sure it was you that mentioned a while back that having a resurfaced OEM FW would have been better for your needs, as oppose to the LWFW.

Has your mind changed since? Are you happy you did it still (that is, installed the LWFW)?

I know I'll upgrade the clutch one of these days and having a LWFW might be an option.

Default Yes, I have the Ecode LWFW installed and have for about 2 years...that said...

I wouldn't do it again and I when the time comes to change clutches again I will probably do a Southbend and a OEM that has been re-surfaced.

The unit from Ecode is a great quality piece. I just don't think the side effects are worth it. It is a little harder to drive in stop-n-go traffic. This is a very small thing, but since you are asking I will include it. You easily get use to it, just when someone else drives the car or your are starting on a hill you notice it. There is CHATTER when the A/C is on and you notice it, both inside and outside the car. Outside it is very noticable and inside you can tell, but it doesn't really bother you. The sound is like a loose heat shield or something else vibrating.

Now for the upside...do revs come up quicker? Honestly I can't remember enough to say yes or no. Maybe it is a little easier to heel-toe, but I don't think underload it is any faster. From what I have read on the S4's they haven't really found there to be a difference worth spending the money on.

Unless you are really wanting to go extereme with your car, I wouldn't do it. Everyone asking you if 'something is wrong with your car' when it is idling gets tiring. The few more revs it takes to catch are noticable when someone else drives the car (or a valet pulls away in it). APR doesn't run a LWFW on there Stg 3+ and basically recommends against it (notice they don't sell them).

If you are still on the fence, drive one and see what you think. BTW my opinion has NOTHING to do with the quality or service I have gotten from Ecode which has been nothing but Excellent.

If you want another opinion with another LWFW on our cars email or search Dr. Mike's comments (bhvrdr).
