Default another chip question: apr or revo

I just leased a 05 Audi A4 1.8tQ 6 spd. I had a upsoluted chipped 01 jetta before and plan on going with a Direct port chip version for the A4. Besides performance any pros and cons?? Both dealers are about 1-5 miles apart from each other here in Michigan.

Thanks

Default this is giving me a headache

Congrats on the 05 1.8t, but searching will provide about a 100,000 posts on this topic.

to save you the hassle, if both are nearby, the consensus here is REVO

Yea yea yea. I guess if it takes you the same amount of time to post a reply with or without the search link (nice touch) I just thought a quick answer wouldn't be to much to ask. Of course, the same can hold true for using the search feature (which can be fairly general sometimes). I have been on many diferant types of boards and you will always have the ones who think they are veterans and like to use the "try the search option" instead of giving an answer. If the question has been asked (which I'm sure it has over and over) just don't reply if you don't want to help with a quick opinion/answer.

Oh, and sorry if your worried about bandwidth or to many questions for you to scroll thru that don't interest you.

Im in Dewitt (north of Lansing) but I noticed that there is an APR and REVO in the Waterford area.

Moving on....

Default I know many are happy with SEA for the APR...

I've not met anyone with the REVO from that other shop.

check out dtwaudi.com for more info in Michigan.

Default But if you are coming from a self proclaimed chipped VW

and have visited many forums, you will know that you only need to visit this site two consecutive days, to consider yourself a "veteran" on the "which chip" topic.

I'll start the next thread for you:

"Which is better the 1.8T or 3.0. "

Don't get me wrong I understand the same questions get asked a lot and I can understand it can get to be a pain seeing stupid question like "which stickers make the most HP?"

I haven't checked out the forums in a couple years and I noticed that now you can "get Chipped" thru the OBD-II port. So I was curious as to which is better, not so much for HP #'s but for Customer service, problems etc...

Whatever, There will always be people on the internet trying to "have" personalities. In reality, most of the talkers would be scared to talk like that in person. No harm no foul.

Awfully sensitive and/or like to Police all Newbie posts.

Yes, I will try the search function before posting questions again.
