I've supposably had all dirty coilpacks replaced (done before taking delivery of car), but I haven't ruled this out.

The problem is on some mornings, after car has sat over night, immediately after I start the engine and put it into reverse to take it out of my garage, the car shakes back and forth (forward and backward). It feels like the power to the tranny is going up and down. This happens for about 10-20 seconds at most and then it goes away.

It almost feels like the torque converter isn't engaging properly. I'm not aware of any tiptronic issues, but if you are please let me know.

I took delivery of a 2003 1.8t quattro last week and every morning I start it up it sounds rough and then sounds like a turbine engine for awhile. Is this normal as part of the engine break in period?

It's not a big problem..

It's just warming the engine

not only Audi is like this..

my old Honda did it too..

It's warming up it self.
