Any body got dust inside headlight casing? How the hell does it get in there?

I thought that the headlights were a sealed unit but while doing my clear corners, found out that they are not. When I was breaking the yellow, it began to fall out the back of the light. So I'm guessing that the dust just came in from the back part of the light.
