the DV diverts excess back into turbo for continued boost. the BPV disperses excess into air. am I reading it wrong or being mis-informed?
blow-off valve, diverter valve, bypass valve:
which is which or are they all the same?

a by pass valve which is the same as the DV divertor valve, a BOB is a blow off valve which blows the excess boost into the air, not a good set up for our cars so dont use a BOV

a new DV isn't going to make your car faster or add HP. it will likely just be more reliable, and will open and shut faster, enabling you to build boost back up quicker between shifts. this building boost up faster between shifts will cause you to spool up faster and give you better throttle response and will allow you to move a little faster i suppose only b/c the turbo is ready sooner
