Default Any results yet from the one or two B6ers who were installing a new FRONT OEM sway bar?

I think it's been identified that the non-sport front sway bar is different than the OEM sport/S4 front sway bar (D vs. B part number). One or two guys here had purchased a B bar, but had not installed them as of a month or two ago.

Any installation/driving results yet?

Default There is a tower front brace bar that installs under hood on ebay.com for sale...

comes from Germany. I was thinking about getting one since it isn't expensive.

Default That would be me ,,,,,

I installed an S4 front and rear sway bar, my car was originally non-sport. THe S4 front sway is heavier, not completely solid but definately heavier. Unfortunately I did'nt weigh them so this is unscientific. BUT, if you hold them both, the difference is quite obvious. I replaced the rear at the same time, the S4 bar is 20mm compared to my original 14mm. The difference in the car, already equipped with Koni sport shocks ( set at mid point) and Eibach pro- kit springs is night and day. I can't say just what difference if any the front alone would make , as I did them together. I dont' think the front would make all that much difference except increase the cars overall ridgidity. The update was definately worth it, but H-sports are stiffer.

How about anyone go from the front sport/S4 to the non sport with upgraded rear?

Default Well, I kind of have that now...m..

I started with non-sport, and have now installed the OEM S4 rear bar. I really don't feel like much has changed. I experience about the same amount of body roll (too much still), and despite the rear sway upgrade, I don't feel the backend is coming around easier than before. I'm wondering if I need to stiffen the front end sway in order for the two to compliment each other better.

My decision is whether to go with the OEM sport/S4 front sway, or just bite the bullet on the OEM rear sway and go to H-sports.

Non-OEM? For the B6? I know the B5 used to have one.

Default I think the lack of front end rigidity is the cause of some of...m...

the chassis still rolling, as well as the rear sway not seeming to do much.

Default I am running the front non-sport and the 24mm Hsport S4 rear...

and it is incredibly neutral. The thing is that I am also benefitting from the PSS9 S4 system so I see where you stand. When I had my NS springs on my B6 I ran the F and R Hsport bars and it did act as a relatively good bandaid in that the body roll was drastically reduced with the full Hsport kit on. That was compared to the sport/S4 front and Sport A4 rear bar in place on the B6 as well. The only downside is that there was not as much neurtrality though, but damn it felt stable. cheers! Mike
