Default Keep them out of sunlight, if possible - I use black trashbags on mine (more)

It helps prevent dry rot, etc.

It sounds like you already know about not storing them upright on the floor (creates hard spots on the tires). I ended up keeping mine stacked on their side due to lack of space, and just keep an eye on the tire pressure every so often.

Default which reminds me, must check spare pressure.... pressure for the spare should usually be higher

, around 50 I believe, and of course if the need arises, you can then lower it to the correct pressure as soon as is convenient.

Default

Try to avoid storing standing up for long periods, you don't want flat spots on tire

Default they sell a rack at Griot's that is bascially a pole that is screwed to the wall...

just have to slide the wheels on to the poles. good idea, but probably expensive.

Default I use the audi vinyl storage bags and stack them

in a storage space in my garage.
i tried the trashbag thing and didn't like them b/c they tear so easily. I ponied up the 17 bucks a piece for 4 of the audi vinyl tire storage bags ffrom clair and i am happy with them. just clean you wheels good before storing them.
