Default Any tips on removing the A-pillar trim (passenger side)?

I want to run the cable of my new cell phone antenna (interior glass) along that route to my HFkit.

Thanks!

Default pain in the neck!

Are you using the Bentley manual? I recommend it here... You need to remove the grab handle and the visor, which are both easily removed with a couple of bolts. The trick part (and it is tricky is separating the trim from the frame with those cheap plastic clips, and not breaking them. Be Careful!! They break very easily, and I actually lost one on mine when I did this. My advice is to stuff the cable in without removing the pillar, which is easier and looks just as good (invisible wiring). If you need to remove that trim piece, again, just be careful with those clips (hint: pull the trim away a bit and use a flashlight to visualize the clips, and then use a flathead or prybar to manually push the clips out directly).

Also, when reinstalling the a-pillar trim, you have to line the clips up with their slots. Otherwise, if you try and bang on the piece to reinsert it, you might force the clips through the trim itself, creating a bulge or a tear which is rather unsightly (I damn near did this myself). Good luck!

Default it's a reall pain in the ****, there are hidden screws like behind the "airbag" plastic cover and..

such, MUCH EASIER to stuff it behind the pillar IMHO, flathead screwdriver does the job nicely
