Default Yeah, a "unknown" company should be sending out 10-20 free demo chips for Forum users to review.
Unless they are afraid of the results.

Default I personally know several people who are running the Upsolute chip in their VW 1.8T's
They love them!, No failures as far as I know. I understand that many people here are not familar with this company, but they have been around the VW scene for a few years now. One thing I have learned about chips is that everyone has a differing opinion as to what sucks.... That being said I am still undecided as to what chip to go for. I think I'll wait for more user reviews, with the bull**** filter turned on...

Gen1 is different story, you can burn them at home.Nobody seemed to know Upsolute, at least you did.

Coming from the VW camp. What bothers me about the Upsolute chip is that they seem to really rush into things. I think they're already on the 6th revision of the 2002 VW 1.8T chip. That says to me that they didn't really know what they were doing in the first place.

Default I have a buddy who is a local Upsolute installer.
I just wouldn't feel at ease with them. Just one of those feelings.

chips in my car.
