I'm thinking about it. Juat not sure what is worse, the look of the bra, or all the darn nicks on the paint without.

The hassle to get it painted is a major consideration. As I can always take the bra off.

what do you guys and gals think?

I too, am curious about the bra. I am taking a long trip next weekend. Any thoughts, good or bad about the Bra? Too Bra or not to Bra?... That is the question.

Are you familiar with the X-Pel Clear Bras? That might be something to consider.

Default "Bra" your A4?

I've gotten one for every car I've owned (ever since a transport went into the stones at roadside and chipped up my 300ZX 15 years ago - had to repaint it, and replace the headlights). Stone chips are only one reason - where I live, a good drive on the highway will leave your front end with dozens of dried-on dead bugs. If you don't wash them off right away, it's a real job to get them off the paint later. They seem to wash off the bra with no problem. As far as looks go, I think my A4 looks kinda cool (meaner, with attitude) with the bra on. Get one.

Default Jaws, where'd you get the bra for your A4 (02 I presume)?

Jaws,

Did you get it from Audi? I have seen a lot of bra's on car that fit very poorly.

-Does your 02 A4 Bra have good fitment?
-Is it a single piece of two piece?
-What did it cost?

Post some pics please.

Default ...where'd you get the bra for your A4 ?

Yes, it's an '02, and I got the bra from Audi (dealer ordered it for me). It's actually 4 pieces - it has 2 side mirror covers, which I had trouble putting on and gave up on, but the rest fits great. Did notice that at higher speeds (greater than 120 km/h) the center of the hood piece tended to move a bit, but not enough to leave any marks on the paint - felt tight as a drum when the car was at rest. Check other posts on this subject though - I seem to recall one person reported tiny scratches on the finish from a similar problem. Not sure if his was an Audi bra. Maybe careless installation?

After three Porche's (2 with and 1 without, and having just looked over my brother-in-law's 2001 A-4 last weekend, I strongly recommend it. It does not look all that bad, gives it an somewhat sinister look. But as previoulsy notes, good luck getting the mirror covers on. I finally got close on a 85 degree day after letting them heat up for 2 hours. Got it from AudiUSA.
