Default anybody cracked their windscreen purposely

just to claim insurance for a new one? mine is 10 months old and full of stone chips.....

Default I think it depends on the state you are in...

each state has different rules on how these things apply. When I was in OK my company replaces my widshield for a rock chip. Here in SC they won't.

Default depends on the insurance

actually, it depends on your insurance. I have state farm and previously if there is a chip or flaw in the windscreen that is in the line of sight that may cause visibility issues they have been good aboutu replacing for FREE... this is the extent of my experience with this.

isnt deductible as much as/if not more than a new windshield?

glass coverage is seperate from your deductible
