anybody ever bought from ebay.de....is it easier to get ripped off??

For big ticket ripoffs there's even fake escrow sites. While you're at the mercy of...
...the system, at least make sure the seller has been around for a while with lots of positive remarks. Read all the negatives. Do an on-line search to see if anyone's been burned. Absolutely check the "eBay sucks" sites to educate yourself on what to look out for. Read the eBay scam articles on MSNBC.com.
Once all is said and done, there are some deals on eBay for things you cannot get anywhere else. Just be careful and don't bet the house.
