A local dealer has a "demo" A4 3.0 Quattro with 3,200 miles. They say it will be sold as a "new" car since it has not been titled. In reality is a used car, or is it truely a new car?

A car can be sold as new if it has never been titled and has less than the mileage limit (4K or 5K or whatever it is).

was probably a salesmans demo and will be sold at invoice. But hard to say if it was abused or not. some of those car salesman really rag on them. thats why I usually steer clear.

Basically, it boils down to whether or not you're willing to take the risk in order to save a few bucks. IMO, you've got the extended warranty going for you, which is worth it's weight in gold. Also, it's not written in stone that the car has been abused or that it will have problems from it's (potential) abuse. It may turn out to be a very reliable car.
Like I said, if the deal is good and you're willing to assume a little more risk, it could be a winner...
