Anybody use ipod with Alpine in-dash monitor? is that possible?

Default Alpine makes an Ipod adapter
Alpine now makes an adapter strictly for the Ipod, which hooks up directly throught the headunit. It runs throught the CD changer function and will disply artist, title ect.... it also charges the Ipods battery too. which is clutch for longer drives
