Default anyone activate their XM?

My salesman said that there was a 3 month free trial of XM with the purchase of the Bose system...has anyone activated their XM service? I don't listen to the radio that much, mostly CD's...should I go for it anyway?

Thanks!

Default 3mo free

but probalby requires that you sign up for a year of service at the same time.

Default i love mine

3 months free, and it's awesome, especially if you live in a city where they have one of their traffic stations...they may not be 100% accurate all of the time, but they're pretty good, and the traffic stations alone are worth 10 bucks a month imho...the ad free music is just a bonus

Do it! You won't be disappointed. I've had mine for a year now and can't imagine driving my car without it.

Default did you have to sign a year contract in order to get the 3 months free? or is it month to month

and you can cancel at any time?

If it's non-contract and no obligation for the 3 months...I'll sign up tomorrow after I get the code from my radio.

thanks guys!

Default Read this for all answers (m)

* XM does not have subscription contracts.

* If you want, you can pay monthly, or decide to pay in advance. 2 year pre-paid plan will save you 10% off monthly cost, 5 year pre-paid you said 16%. If you decide to cancel, you get the remaining money back (prorated). There is no penalty.

* You can add up to 5 radios to your plan. First radio is $9.99/month, 2nd-5th radios are $6.99/month (I have my A4 and a Delphi Roady2 at home, so a total of $16.98/month).

* When you activate (easiest to do online), use promotion code OEM001AUD and they give you 3 months free AND waive the activation fee.

If you're still unsure, go here:
http://www.xmmonitor.com/played/search

punch in some songs or artists to see what XM plays and on what channels. You'll be amazed.

XM rocks. period.

P.S. don't bother asking me about Sirius.

Default awsome! I'll do it online tomorrow @ work. Looks sweeet. Question tho...

does the 3 months start from when I activate the radio or when I bought the car?

scanned thru the channels they had on xmradio.com and looks sweet. but it looks like when I activate, I need to input a credit card info? I'm assuming it's just incase I want to continue the service after my trial?

thanks!
