Default Anyone ever think of removing exterior side trim?

Hey. I was looking at my car today and wondered if it would be possible to remove the trim that goes across the drivers and passenger doors (picture included for reference). Has anyone done this? I don't know if the results would be too noticeable but it might look cool. I'm also wondering what condition the paint is in under those peices.

it's been discussed and I believe we found out that it is indented.

why not paint them to match your car? I was thinking about doing that to match my silver theme :-)

Default need a heat gun to remove, but not reusable after removal. Will need to order replacements.
