Default IS anyone on this Forum currently running an ATP Eliminator Turbo setup...I have some questions?

Some that I have spoken to say that the stock exhaust manifold can not handle that kind of power. Will running this set up without a test pipe cause too much back pressure at the cat?

How buggy is the software that ATP has developed?

Will the stock internals hold up over time at such a high level of HP/torque.

Am I better off going with a more reliable K04 setup. I dont want this car in the shop all the time as it is my daily driver.

THX

Default 2nd. I am looking for the same answers.

I e-mailed ATP with some questions. They responded, but they didn't get real technical on the answers. I guess I'll call them when I have time. Looks like a decent product. I think they are a reputable company.

Default A couple of thoughts..

1)Sure the stock manifold is not ideal but we have seen some good power being made with them.

ie: eliminators, AWE 28R.

2) ATP software, do not know but with anything you may have bugs, the software seems good although no logs of a/f and such.

3) Stock internals will hold up fine if you take care of your car. Good maintenance is important. Unforseen is just that but if you take good care of your car your car will thank you for it.

Default

Once I finally move and stabilize my finances, I intend to get the GT2X kit.

Default That is the kit i was looking iNto getting. I mean they got good numbers with the stock exhaust...

And side mount. I have the ecode fmic, the 1st gen carbonio and the Thermal Turbo back 3inch pipe from the cat back. all that should help push the HP/Torque up.
