Anyone get the TIP that originaly wanted a manual?
I haven't driven the tip yet since I've always had a manual. Anyone else make the move over to the "dark" side and get the tip? Comuting is not a problem for me so I don't have to worry about sitting in traffic (which the tip would be great for). The only way I'd consie=der the tip is in the 3.0, the 1.8t doesn't have enough juice imo. TIA!

if youre not in much traffic, then auto boxes arent so neccesary.
however, the CVT takes away the usual advantages and excuses to use manuals
i.e top speed, 0-60, fuel consumption.. engine breaking, and the smoothness and convenience is above any other auto.

I was torn between tip and manual. I decided to go with the tip since I often get stuck in traffic and was planning to use this car as my commuter. I actually like it now that I have it. Besides I have a couple other vehicles that are manuals if I decided I wanted to drive a manual.

I originally wanted manual...
...but they f*cked up my order and the car arrived as a CVT multitronic. I'm happy with it now. I no longer have to shift in Los Angeles traffic and since CVT has infinite gear ratios, it's quicker than the manual >=]. But don't tell the stick shift guys, they'll get heated.
