Anyone go from B5 To B6 1.8Ts?

plenty of people have done it
IIRC the 99 and 00 models were plaqued with problems. My family spent a lot of money constantly fixing the B5 and eventually sold it. My B6 has held up really well.

I did..
I switched from a 99.5 2.8 sedan to a 03 3.0 avant. Never looked back. This has been a great car, and I recently purchased off lease so I'll be keeping her for a while. I loved the 99.5, but this car definitely has the edge.

well in terms of how many problems the cars has had, yeah the B6 is a big winner
I like the console a lot more in the B6 but things like that are all subjective. Overall, they are both an Audi

Lots of us have...
Not many have also gone from B5 S4 to B6 A4 1.8T...like I did.
The B6 is heavier...steadier in the wind...and less tossable. Gas mileage is not as good. Rear passenger room is better...if you get a loaded car it looks better inside.
Go for an ultrasport/S-line if you can swing it.
