Default Anyone got a link to a write-up on replacing INNER CV boots? I see outer but never did an inner

Just wondering what I'm up against. I've done a couple outer but I've never touched an inner CV joint.

Also, I just noticed that my rear Passenger side CV boot is leaking as well. I've never done one of these either. Easier or harder than the fronts? What all do I have to remove to get to it? Will be ordering the boots on Monday unless, the general opinion is to swap for a new axle.

Default Swapping axles is quicker and easier if you can afford the higher cost...

And may be the best option depending on the mileage on the existing parts.
The inner joints have a circlip requiring a proper circlip plier tool to remove and replace the clips. With the circlip removed, the joint will slide off of the splined drive shaft. Replace boot, then reinstall the joint on the drive shaft. Reinstall on car. (When replacing the boot, 1 tube of CV grease is needed to fill the new boot with fresh CV grease.)
Rear half shafts are about the same as the fronts.
