anyone had their ash tray trim make noise when going over bumps?

What kind of noises? Evil demon noises or...sexual noises?
Or perhaps it sounds like an emu. I must say, that would be quite startling. Driving down the road, minding my own business, when suddenly, "[insert emu noise here]." I don't even think I'd be able to hear the noise and identify it as that of an emu, especially while driving. I'd probably incorrectly classify it as some other type of poultry.
But to answer your question, no, I've never heard my ash tray trim make any noises.

That's REALLY annoying - I'm sorry to hear about that.
I hate creeks...there's one that comes from the back of my car, and I can't figure out where the hell it's coming from. Drives me insane...hence the $200 ipod kit.

maybe if i remove the trim and put some oil on the plastic pegs...i hate rattles/creaks too
but, this a4 is lightyears ahead of other cars i've driven in this department!
