Default anyone have an apr stage III kit on their B6 A4???

what are your 0-60 times? Can the 1.8t handle it without any problems?

Any other better or comparable kits?<ul><li><a href="http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/stage3_long.html">http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/stage3_long.html</a></li></ul>

Default hmm that sucks... basically here's the deal

I am a cheap bastard, and I want near S4 performance with a bargain price. I think the S4 is way overpriced, it has the gas guzzler tax, and it currently is blowing engines. I wanted to get an A4 or S4 wagon because I think they look so damn slick, and I need space to haul crap around. But I can imagine throwing cash down for a fat turbo upgrade and transmission would put you in S4 territory in terms of price, and on top of that you void your warranty.

Default I think this time around, the stock s4 is out of reach of the a4 (1.8T).

Even accounting for the fact it weighs ~400 pounds more, the V8 at higher speeds won't be beat.

I also know of VERY FEW 1.8T making in excess of 300 hp (nevermind 340hp), especially in A4s. I think near S4 performance can be had but with lots and lots of mods, I don't think just a turbo upgrade would do.

More like turbo, full exhaust (no cats or high flo) front mount, suspension and brake work etc...

Just to beat my point to death, the old s4 with 250hp was reachable (k04 + exhaust) but I don't think this one is.

Default Several B5 A4's with APR stage III ran high 12's in the quarter on race gas...over half a second...

faster than the b6 S4.

Yah on race gas and in a lighter car. Dont think the B6 will ever hit 12's with just a stage 3.

100 lbs converts to .1 in the quarter mile...minus race gas you are looking at a close race

Default With that said thats like .2 seconds slower and the A4's that ran 12's were in the high 12's...

almost 13's. Which means that a B6 would not pull 12's. yes it would be close, but I think 12's is being too optimisitic.
