I'm thinking about taking mine to New England dragway this week (they have open track wednesday and friday nites) and i was wondering if anyone knew what if any mods i'd need to do to be safety compliant. the rules on the NE dragway site say that i need a radiator overflow can and battery strap. i'm pretty sure the b6 comes stock with the latter, but i'm not sure about the overflow can. thanks

i'm so pumped for wednesday. i might bring a helmet (i doubt i'll break 14, but i think it'll be a good idea safety wise, and i have a helmet anyways) if i get anything decent, i'll post slips

Ha. I can't break my tires loose without some serious brake-torquing, especially on dry asphalt. I guess if I brake torque while pressing the kickdown switch...CVT...fun!
I don't want to fvck up the clutches, and my guess is brake torquing to 5k isnt good for them.
