in the snow or in winter conditions yet?

Just curious how they did in light snow or slush.

Stupid question of the day! What is the proper PSI for the tires?

Never ever ever, use summer tires in winter. Any driving when temps are below 40 is a death wish.

I run around in Vegas at 30-40 deg all the time with my SP9000s. They work fine.

Default all year . ok in 3-4" of snow. they should be set to 30psi....

get a set of snows for winter because it does take a while for the michelins to warm up. also, they are not cheap if you want to replace them with same ones.

Default Yup, mine came with Primacy's and I still had em on when the first.....(m)

2 inches of slush showed up. It warn't purty. They'd catch slush out of the tire tracks and I'd get dragged around. The traction was not good getting going or getting stopped. I enjoyed myself a little until it sunk in how unforgiving they were. Lots more fun now that the M2's are on.
There are alot of ways to roll the dice and attempt to cheat death, but at least skydiving and cycle riding have the bonus of being more enjoyable than driving on summer performance tires in the winter

BTW, I ran mine at 38 psi

Default Yes (m)

One word for their snow performance: Treachorous. They are absolutely horrible in the snow. Check your door sill for inflation recommendations.

Default Don't risk it

I tried driving on mine for one day. We only had an inch of snow and ice but I almost hit a parked car and two curbs while going to the store. Getting started is no problem but stopping is horrible. ABS comes on and still can't stop. I didn't have enough $ to get new rims and tires so I just got new tires. Saving the Michellins for new rims in the summer when Christmas is over.

Default Please learn from my experience!!! I just got my car back last night for hitting the curb (more)...

I'm still blessed that the only damage my car got was a bent lower arm and a couple of rims. Paid $607 for the lower arm, alignment, and wheel swap. I have to order a couple of rims. All in all it would cost me $1200 plus a bad memory! Summer tires and snow don't like each other...
