and I'm starting to lean back towards a GTRS setup. I've driven a B6 S4 which I really liked and want to get close to this level of performance [and yes, I'm well aware of the limitations of a 1.8T in replicating that of the V8 in the S4].

Thoughts? Discuss.

the numbers are kind meh. It's a tad past a K04 for a lot more loot.

A part of me wants a bulletproof 1.9 or 2.0 setup with a GT30-series turbo and a 8500 redline while a more sensible part of me wants a simple GT28RS setup and to stay 1.8.

Either way nothing is being done this summer as I don't have the finances for any sort of a BT upgrade.

Yeah... it's up to 4K I'm concerned about. Not a fan of too much lag.
