Anyone here running a GTRS w/Revo [besides tuneda4]? AWE's "BT" kit is losing appeal to me...

I might have been reading into too things too much... something about swapping the N75 for a EBC.

Default 4K is perfectly fine for daily driving. My K04 hits at only like 3K so another 1K is not big deal.

If you don't want lag, your best bet is to stay with a K03. Everything else has more lag.

just go with the gtrs. it is not that big of a turbo and you should really run into no issues

Default from dynos i think k04 is 3200 and GTRS is 3800, so for extra 100whp it's a small price

full GT28RS spools 200 earlier than GTRS and full 2871R can also spool at 3800 and good for 330whp.

I'm in the same boat... no means to do it now so I'm left to ponder.

Default Well, I'm willing to give up something for more power overall. There must be a trade off.

And the K03 will be replaced. Just not sure w/what yet.

Default There he is. ;-] After seeing dynos and weighing options that's the direction I'm heading...

I'm just kinda bummed to lose some of the low end which is why the AWE kit is appealing. Flip flop.

Assuming you've driven a B6 S4, how would you say your A4 stacks up?

Side note, this is usually the part when I ask you if you're in SoCal... just want to be consistent.

Default Yes, that's what I've seen as well. give or take depending on supporting mods...

conditions etc.

The tune-ability factor of the GTRS is very appealing as well so I could keep things conservative to avoid said rod explosion and keep spool in mind.

Default I've been running the GTRS with Revo software and have 141k on my car

24 pds of boost and timing set at 6. Car runs great and is faster then an S4, (except from a dead stop).
I have lots other mods too and is very dependable.

I know of no one who has bent rods.
