Anyone here take the door strips off?

I saw a 5series bmw and noticed they didn't have the door strips. looked clean. anyone here do this?

with painted lowers i like the door strips... i think they look bad on bmws...

cause the strips aren't painted... and its like black plastic

I saw some photos of a really clean (B5) A4 a couple of years ago.

Shaved door handles, side marker lights, door strips etc. Looked good. I can't remember whose it was, but I seem to remember the owner was in SoCal. Anyone else here remember?
