Anyone knows if the EVO intake system could cause any problem with the air sensors?

Anyone knows if the EVO intake system could cause any problem with the air sensors?

If you are talking about the mass air fow sensor, mine hasn't caused any clogging problems or anything else.

I had one on my car for about a week, and I took it off. The MAF doesn't like the airflow from about 3-4K rpm, so the F/A ratio bounces around a lot going rich/lean/rich etc. when at full throttle. I verified it with my vagcom. I tried 3 diff. chips trying to find out where the roughness was coming from, and finally took the intake off, and that solved the problem. Now I'm running a Neuspeed chip with a modified stock airbox and K&N filter. Runs real smooth, and has as much power as any other combination I have tried.
