Anyone notice a "flat spot" in second gear? A4 1.8T TIP

I noticed this whenever I accelerate through second gear, and it has happened from the start. I currently have about 1100 miles on the car. As I was saying, when I accelerate through second gear using tiptronic, I notice that the rpm's drop a bit (maybe a few hundred rpm) like the tranny shifted gears. It happens regardless of acceleration (high or low). When I am accelarating at t alow rate, the "shift" seems to happen at about 2200 rpm. when I accelerate quickly, it seems to happen at about 2700 rpm. It's weird. At first I thought it was the turbo kicking in, but wouldn;t that increase the rpm's?
Anyone else notice that?

several months (probably 6 or more) back this was brought up in full effect and one AW regular poster asked his dealer about it and got some sort of explanation for why this is "normal"
for the life of me i can't remember why, but it happens to me just like you describe

I was in manual mode. All of a sudden it stopped happening after about 7000 miles. I don't know if it was the driver program adjusting to me or what, but it was weird. I no longer see that behavior at all. Hope it goes away...or maybe I'm just crazy....
